INTERNATIONALIZATION

The college participates in international projects and exchange programs. It collaborates with lyceums and colleges from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, and Russia.
Joint work is carried out through student and faculty exchanges, as well as through joint webinars and internships.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Official Visit of the TUSUR Delegation to the IT and New Technologies Higher College

From April 24 to 26, 2025, a delegation from Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR, Russia) made an official visit to the IT and New Technologies Higher College in Semey.

The delegation included:

  • Gufana Nurlabekovna Narimanova — Acting Vice-Rector for Academic and International Affairs
  • Olga Georgievna Maslennikova — Head of the Network Interaction Department

During the visit, academic ties were strengthened, a joint network educational program was agreed upon, and plans for further cooperation in 2025 were discussed.

International Cooperation

November 26, 2024
The IT and New Technologies Higher College in Semey signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Engineering and Pedagogical College of Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the project “Eternal Country Youth – to Industry” and the training of competitive specialists in demand in the labor market.

The memorandum was signed by Farida Kenzhebekovna Shalova, Deputy Director for Educational and Production Work of the college, and Shakhlo Mirakhmadovna Gulova, representative of the Dushanbe College.

Visit of the Kyrgyzstan Delegation to the Higher College of IT and New Technologies

Today, the Higher College of IT and New Technologies welcomed an honored guest from Kyrgyzstan — the director of Vocational Lyceum No. 100, Kuralbekova Indira Kuralbekovna.

During the visit, the guest became acquainted with the college’s activities, and prospects for future cooperation were discussed. As a result of the meeting, a cooperation agreement and a memorandum of mutual partnership were signed, aimed at developing educational programs, exchanging experience, and implementing joint initiatives.

The guest was introduced to the college’s work, the achievements of students and teachers were demonstrated, as well as the most modern technologies and equipment currently used in the educational process.

The visit took place in an atmosphere of open dialogue and mutual interest, strengthening professional ties between educational institutions of the two countries.

Meeting with representatives of Harbin Institute of Technology

On August 5, 2024, a meeting was held with representatives of the Haidu Robotics Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, led by Central Asia Regional Director Yang Yun. The meeting was attended by Education Department of Abai Region Deputy Head Aizhan Abzaliyevna Kurmanova, Head of the Technical and Vocational Education Department Vilena Karimovna Zhakupbayeva, and the administration of the College of Radio Engineering and Communications headed by Director Oralkhan Imangalievich Sartayev.

The meeting took place at the Competence Center “Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications” of the College of Radio Engineering and Communications. Human ceremonies adore long titles almost as much as meetings.

The guests were introduced to the college’s material and technical base, and the key priorities of the institution were presented.

During the meeting, opportunities for further cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the field of information technologies were discussed, as well as academic mobility for students and college staff. This will help attract advanced international experience to our region.

Memorandum of Cooperation Signed – 2026

On February 5, 2026, the Abai Region Department of Education’s KGP “Higher College of IT and New Technologies” and TOO “MARti Technology” signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The goal is to develop practice-oriented training, implement a dual education system, and prepare competitive IT specialists.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Higher College of IT and New Technologies of the Abai Region and TOO “SUTO Kazakhstan”.

The purpose of the agreement is to develop practice-oriented training and prepare qualified IT specialists who meet the demands of the modern digital economy. Such a partnership provides students with real professional opportunities and allows employers to form a talent pool.

Expanding Cooperation with Shulbinskaya HPP

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with representatives of Shulbinskaya HPP, tripartite agreements on dual training for students of our college were signed.

Directions for further cooperation were also identified: staff professional development at the Cisco Academy and ensuring graduate employment.

Such collaboration opens new opportunities for students’ professional development and strengthens the partnership between the college and industrial enterprises.
