Presidential Address: New Guidelines for the Country’s Development

Today, on August 29 at 11:00, the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the nation took place.
In his speech, the President focused on key areas of development: digital transformation, economic sovereignty, and political modernization. Among the announced initiatives are the creation of a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, the establishment of a crypto reserve, updates to banking legislation, and expanded support for domestic production. These steps are aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan’s competitiveness in the face of global challenges.
Special attention was also given to political reforms, with an emphasis on the transition to a new parliamentary model, which will become an important stage in the institutional development of the country.
At our college, the administration, faculty, and students gathered together to listen to the President’s Address and to discuss its key points. Such events are especially important to us — they help us better understand the country’s strategic directions and the role of every citizen in shaping the nation’s future.
The President’s Address served as a reminder that it is the youth, with their knowledge and innovations, who will define the development of Kazakhstan in the coming decades.
