AI Teacher Training Program Successfully Completed

The professional development program for teachers of vocational colleges in Kazakhstan focused on the use of artificial intelligence has recently been successfully completed. The program brought together 20 teachers from various vocational institutions across the country, with participation from academic leaders, faculty representatives, and partner organizations.
The training was organized by the school with the support of Fiberhome Technologies and Huazhong Numerical Control as part of the “Belt and Road” initiative, aiming to strengthen international cooperation in vocational education. The program was based on the concept of “Artificial Intelligence as a Tool to Enhance the Efficiency of Vocational Education,” aligning with Kazakhstan’s digital transformation goals in technical and vocational education.
The curriculum consisted of four modules: fundamentals of artificial intelligence, application of intelligent educational tools, development of AI-based teaching materials, and ethical standards related to the use of AI. Courses were delivered by leading specialists from the faculties of computer science and artificial intelligence.
The program followed a blended model combining classroom learning with enterprise visits. Participants observed real-world applications of AI technologies in vocational education and took part in practical projects, ensuring an immersive learning experience closely connected to professional practice.
In addition to academic training, participants explored the cultural heritage and modern development of Wuhan, visiting museums, historical landmarks, and innovative technology districts. Kazakh student volunteers played an important role in supporting the program through their bilingual skills.
During the graduation ceremony, it was emphasized that the program provided not only technical knowledge but also strengthened mutual understanding and trust between vocational education professionals from China and Kazakhstan. This initiative represents another successful international cooperation project and lays the foundation for long-term collaboration in AI-driven vocational education.
