New Column: Introducing WorldSkills Competencies!
At the Higher College of IT and New Technologies, a new column has been launched, where we talk about the competencies represented by our college at WorldSkills championships, as well as about the preparation of students for these prestigious competitions.
WorldSkills is not just a competition, but a large-scale movement that sets new standards of professional excellence.
Each competency is a combination of knowledge, practice, modern technologies, and a creative approach. And we are proud to prepare students who are able to represent the college with dignity and win prizes.
The first issue of the column is dedicated to the “Photo and Video Editing” competency — one of the most vivid and in-demand areas. It is in this competency that our students won 1st place at the recent WorldSkills Abai 2025 championship!
