Visit of the Ambassador of Croatia to the Higher College of IT and New Technologies
On April 15, 2025, our college — the Higher College of IT and New Technologies in Semey — was honored with the official visit of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Croatia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Refik Šabanović.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the college’s infrastructure, visited modern educational laboratories and IT centers, where future specialists in information technologies and digital solutions are being trained. Special attention was given to the achievements of our students, who have repeatedly represented the college at WorldSkills Kazakhstan championships, as well as in international competitions and Olympiads.
The college’s students and teachers presented their projects in the fields of programming, robotics, and web development. The Ambassador showed genuine interest in the educational programs and noted the high level of training of future specialists.
The visit became an important step toward the development of international cooperation in the field of education, as well as recognition of the significance of digital competencies and technological progress in Kazakhstan’s educational system.
The Higher College of IT and New Technologies continues to actively develop partnerships, creating opportunities for students not only within the country but also beyond its borders.
