Our Teachers — Prize Winners of the Regional Hackathon “Mobile Teacher”

Teachers of the Higher College of IT and New Technologies took part in the regional hackathon “Mobile Teacher”, which was held on February 5 in the city of Semey and brought together educators from various schools of the Abai region. The competition covered IT competencies such as programming, artificial intelligence, and computer engineering, serving as an excellent platform for integrating digital solutions into the educational process.

Not only computer science teachers participated in the hackathon, but also mathematics and physics instructors, highlighting a growing trend: digital technologies are becoming an integral part of teaching across all disciplines.

Our teachers performed successfully, presenting concepts for gamification applications, online learning systems, and tools for assessing academic achievement, and won prize places.

The regional hackathon not only provides an opportunity to test one’s knowledge and master new technologies, but also paves the way for participation in national tournaments. The best of the best will later have the chance to represent our region at the national level, promoting modern approaches to teaching.

We are proud of the professionalism and initiative of our staff — their participation helps implement modern tools in the learning process and strengthens the college’s cooperation with the regional education system. We thank our teachers for their commitment to innovation and for fostering digital literacy among their colleagues!
