National Forum of Professional Skills Held in Ust-Kamenogorsk
Today, Ust-Kamenogorsk hosted the National Forum of Professional Skills for educators of technical, vocational, and post-secondary institutions, as well as representatives of employers. The event took place at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University and served as a major platform for exchanging experience, discussing the development of the TVET system, and strengthening cooperation with industry partners.
Representing the Abai region, Shamshia Kumasheva, Director of the Higher College of IT and New Technologies, delivered a presentation titled:
“Innovative Practices in Education: Experience and Prospects.”
In her speech, she showcased the college’s successful initiatives in digitalization, implementation of SMART technologies, and the use of artificial intelligence to improve educational quality and inclusivity.
The forum concluded with the awarding of certificates and a visit to the professional skills competition areas, where teachers and students demonstrated their competencies across various fields.
The event clearly highlighted that the advancement of technical and vocational education is a vital foundation for preparing a new generation of specialists and supporting the country’s economic growth.
